Privacy

This policy covers emcc.co.nz, run by EMCC Limited. It explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect

• What you give us. When you send an enquiry we collect your name, phone number, email address, company and site, your description of the project, and any drawings, specifications or photos you attach.
• How you found us. We use Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta pixel to see which pages and ads bring people to the site. These set cookies and record things like pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, and the ad or link you arrived from. They do not tell us who you are.

Why we collect it

• To price your project and get back to you about it.
• To carry out the work if you go ahead.
• To understand which of our ads and pages actually work, so we spend less on the ones that don't.

Who else sees it

Your enquiry and any files you attach are stored with our website host and emailed to us. We use Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), Google and Meta (advertising and analytics). We don't sell your information, and we don't pass it to anyone else except where we need a subcontractor or supplier to complete your job, or where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and attached files are kept while the project is live and for our own records afterwards. Job and compliance records are kept for as long as the relevant regulations require.

Cookies and opting out

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and adjust ad personalisation in your Google and Meta account settings.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email niall@emcc.co.nzand we'll sort it.
