We install the electrical and mechanical services together on industrial projects, from supply and distribution through to the final connection and the services that feed the plant.
Both trades are carried in-house, so the set-down, the services and the connection are covered by the same team.

Installing, moving and tying in machinery that has to keep running
Machine installation, plant upgrades and relocations
Machine installation from the pad up — set-down, levelling, services and connection — plus machine moves, line extensions, replacement plant and integrating new equipment into an installation that was never drawn for it.
It usually comes with constraints — a fixed window, a live building, plant either side that can't stop. We plan the sequence around those constraints first and price the work second.
There's a waterjet in our workshop, which is useful on this kind of job — mounts, brackets and adaptor plates can be made rather than ordered in.

Motors, drives, pumps and control systems
Motors and drives, pumps and pumping systems, and the control, protection and pipework around them. Installation, replacement, alignment and the electrical work that lands it.
Both the mechanical and the electrical side are covered, from the pipework and alignment through to the starter, the drive and the protection.
Control and automation sits here rather than in a category of its own: variable speed drives and soft starters, motor control centres, PLC and HMI systems, and the instrumentation feeding them.

Planned work, and the call-outs in between
Shutdowns, maintenance, fault finding and repair
Shutdown work is scoped and sequenced against the window: what goes in it, what gets prepared beforehand, and what the fallback is if something opens up that wasn't in the plan.
Alongside it, planned maintenance on installed plant and the call-out end of the work — fault finding and repair on machinery that has stopped. That includes intermittent faults, undocumented modifications and plant with no drawings left.
Repairs cover both trades, and where a replacement part can't be bought it can often be made in our workshop.

Testing, commissioning and project handover
Testing and commissioning is planned as its own phase with time allowed for it. Functional testing, results recorded, and defects closed out before handover.
Handover comes with the documentation: test results, as-installed marked up, and what the site needs to keep maintaining it.

Commercial and rural solar
Solar PV for commercial buildings and rural sites — rooftop systems on retail, hospitality and office buildings, and systems for dairy sheds, irrigation pumping, vineyards and farm buildings, on the roof or on the ground.
Systems are sized against how the site actually uses power: daytime and process load, plant demand, and what is worth exporting. Design, supply, installation, the grid-connect application and commissioning.
Where the system ties into existing switchboards or plant, that electrical work is included rather than left to someone else.
